Reminiscing

Contemporary mixed media canvas created by visual artist, Michelle Lindblom, was inspired by the textures in nature and memories of family. “This piece began as a monotype where I used one of my grandmother’s doilies to create the intricate texture and embossment. I then, adhered the monotype to canvas and used various mixed media to finish the work.
