Water

Acrylic on Paper and mounted on stretched canvas: Water – created by visual artist Michelle Lindblom. This piece was created when I had torn some articles from the newspaper regarding diminishing water supplies and lack of precipitation. It was also inspired by water and its ability to cleanse, heal, and nourish. I glued some of the text from the articles to the surface of the BFK Rives paper. The imagery spontaneously took off from there—a contrast of abundance and scarcity.
