Water

Acrylic on Paper and mounted on stretched canvas: Water – created by visual artist, Michelle Lindblom of Bend, Oregon. This piece was created when I had torn some articles from the newspaper regarding diminishing water supplies and lack of precipitation. It was also inspired by the idea of water and its ability to cleanse, heal and nourish. I glued some of the text from the articles to the surface of the BFK Rives paper. The imagery spontaneously took off from there. A contrast of abundance and scarcity.
